The Gallery Origin Story

Self-taught and inspired by early modern masters, K Shoa portrays the simplicity of the human form in her figurative work. Her signature line of bold, graphic depictions of eucalyptus and aspen tree trunks is drawn from regular hikes through Los Angeles parks, built up in acrylic and textured with ink and oil pastel.

She discovered painting mid-career, after a computer engineering career and two decades of corporate consulting in product marketing, business strategy, technology, and AI. What started as a community college art class became an active calling. Something that had been quietly building since childhood museum and gallery visits finally broke loose.

Her work has been collected internationally, and showcased in TV shows, books, and global advertising campaigns. Today, her artwork is available as gallery-scale canvas reproductions up to 7 feet, collected by individuals, designers, and decorators nationwide.

Rolled canvas is printed and shipped in a protective tube. It is ideal for clients who prefer to have the canvas framed or stretched locally, or for shipments where a tube travels more reliably and cheaper than a framed piece. Stretched canvas is mounted on solid wood stretcher bars, gallery-wrapped, and arrives ready to hang with no additional framing required.

How do I choose the right size for large walls?

Every product listing includes a reference image showing the best way to measure your walls for the size of the artwork. Please measure your wall space carefully before ordering — the vast majority of return requests are due to incorrect size selection.
