Please measure your wall space carefully before ordering — the vast majority of return requests are due to incorrect size selection. Width: The general rule is that the width of the artwork above a sofa should be between two-thirds and three-quarters the width of the sofa, though many designers today push closer to 80% for a more intentional, contemporary look. For a 90-inch sofa that means art in the 60-72 inch range. If you are considering a diptych or triptych, the combined width of all panels plus the space between them counts as the total artwork width.

Height: the bottom of the piece should sit 6-8 inches above the sofa back to feel connected rather than floating. The center of the artwork should be at eye level of an average height person. You can push the height higher for more drama.

When in doubt, use a sticky-note for the corners of the panels on your wall before ordering — it takes two minutes and eliminates guesswork. We are also happy to advise if you share a photo of your space.
